PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY

Leicester Vocal Tech hosts an Infant to Senior Associate Performing Arts Academy for those aged 3 – 16 years. Classes are streamed according to age and ability. Students receive full training and guidance in each performing arts discipline:

• Singing - Popular Music, Musical Theatre, Classical
• Dance - Commercial Street Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern
• Drama - Acting, Theatre, Radio

We build confidence and self-awareness whilst allowing each child to develop their full potential and find their creative inner-self.

The Academy covers key stages in line with the national curriculum from level 1 through GCSE, A/AS Level to Diploma. We believe in "all-rounder" coaching and students can put together their own training programmes, specialising in key areas. As students grow through the academy, classes are tailored to ensure that they receive consistent and appropriate training. Students have the opportunity to pursue examinations in Acting accredited by LAMDA, LCM & Singing examinations accredited by Thames Valley University, ABRSM, from beginner to Diploma level.

Whether you want to become a singer, dancer or actor, you will gain valuable skills and techniques. We have full programmes to suit those wanting to pursue, Popular Music, Musical Theatre and Acting.

At the Academy, emphasis is placed on performing! As a result there are a number of shows and performances throughout the year that students are involved in including our annual show and winter pantomime. We also actively put students forward for auditions and various events.

All of our coaches are fully trained, working professionals who are only too keen to pass on their knowledge and experience of the industry.
